📋 Description

• Serve Robotics is seeking a Technical Accounting Manager to take ownership of researching, analyzing, and formally documenting complex accounting matters, driving consistent and practical application of U.S. GAAP across the global organization.
• The role involves evaluating and documenting significant and non-routine transactions, including revenue recognition (ASC 606), lease accounting (ASC 842), debt arrangements (ASC 470), and equity and stock-based compensation, while overseeing recurring technical assessments such as impairment analyses, segment reporting, and going concern evaluations.
• The company is a tech-forward robotics firm building sidewalk delivery robots to revolutionize urban logistics, with a team of industry veterans in software, hardware, and design focused on solving real-world problems through collaboration and innovation.
• The position offers broad exposure across the organization, the opportunity to influence critical accounting and reporting decisions, and the chance to develop and maintain formal accounting policies while supporting SEC reporting and SOX compliance efforts.

🎯 Requirements

• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a mix of Big 4/public accounting and industry preferred
• Hands-on experience working at or supporting a public company
• Advanced accounting research and interpretive skills, with the ability to draft comprehensive, defensible technical accounting memoranda
• Experience with the application of ASC 718 equity accounting, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and ASC 842 lease accounting
