- • Prepare and assemble bills of materials (BOMs), product configurations, and pricing comparison documents for customer engagements in cloud, infrastructure, networking, and data center domains.
- • Build vendor and technology comparison matrices to assist senior engineers and Field CTOs in evaluating solutions from major OEMs and hyperscalers.
- • Configure, maintain, and reset lab environments used for customer demonstrations, proof-of-concept testing, and internal training.
- • Research vendor announcements, product releases, end-of-life notices, and competitive updates, synthesizing findings into concise summaries for engineering teams.
- • Assemble and format materials for Executive Briefing Centers (EBCs), workshops, and customer assessments, including slide decks, data sheets, and supporting documentation.
- • Maintain engagement trackers, project logs, and internal documentation to support the operational cadence of the domain architecture practice.
- • Support senior engineers with pre-engagement research, including customer environment profiles, installed base data, and relevant case studies or reference architectures.
- • Assist with data gathering, formatting, and quality checks for customer deliverables such as assessment reports, architecture reviews, and TCO analyses.
- • Participate in internal team meetings, vendor briefings, and training sessions to build technical knowledge across cloud platforms, networking, compute, storage, and virtualization.
- • Provide ad hoc support across all domain architecture teams as priorities shift, operating flexibly across technology domains without premature specialization.
- • Shadow senior engineers on customer calls and engagements to observe how technical expertise translates into customer advisory and commercial outcomes.
- • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity by actively seeking new learning opportunities and applying concepts to different situations.
- • Communicate complex technical information effectively and adapt communication style to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
- • Apply problem-solving skills to identify issues, propose solutions, and take action without explicit instructions.
- • Maintain a detail-oriented approach to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in work products.
- • Exercise initiative by identifying opportunities for improvement and taking action independently.
- • Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- • Exhibit a customer-centric mindset by identifying customer pain points and incorporating feedback into solution design.
- • Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to enhance productivity and execute tasks efficiently.
- • Support consultative sales efforts by identifying customer needs and proposing suitable technology solutions.
- • Travel to SHI, partner, and customer events as required.
🎯 Requirements
- • Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field or relevant work experience
- • 0–2 years of professional experience; recent graduates with internships, lab work, or academic projects encouraged to apply
- • Intermediate expertise in protecting systems, networks, and programs from digital attacks, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data
- • Intermediate expertise in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting servers, storage solutions, and network infrastructure
- • Intermediate understanding of cloud computing technologies including virtualization, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- • Demonstrated interest in enterprise technology through coursework, certifications (e.g., CompTIA, AWS Cloud Practitioner), personal projects, or self-directed learning
