Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Step into the heart of federal ERP excellence as a Technical Analyst Intern on CACI’s SAP program. You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with senior architects, functional leads, and data scientists to keep a mission-critical SAP landscape running at peak performance for U.S. government customers.
- • Own the configuration, tuning, and day-to-day health of SAP modules used by thousands of federal employees. Your fingerprints will be on every patch, transport, and enhancement that keeps payroll, logistics, and financial operations flowing without interruption.
- • Validate every change through rigorous regression and performance testing suites that you help design. You will author test cases, execute scripts, and interpret results to certify that new code meets strict federal security and performance standards before it ever reaches production.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents that range from slow-running batch jobs to complex interface failures. You will mine system logs, trace RFC calls, and partner with BASIS and security teams to restore service within aggressive SLAs while documenting root cause for future prevention.
- • Harness the power of artificial intelligence and machine learning to move the ERP from reactive to predictive. You will explore real-time data streams, build Python-based models that forecast system bottlenecks, and embed those models directly into SAP workflows to automate routine decisions.
- • Conduct deep-dive analyses on transactional data to uncover patterns in user behavior, master-data anomalies, and process inefficiencies. Your insights will feed a backlog of automation epics that reduce manual effort and free federal staff to focus on higher-value mission work.
- • Collaboratively develop, configure, and integrate AI/ML micro-services on Microsoft Azure. You will stand up serverless functions, secure API gateways, and containerized scoring engines that extend SAP’s native capabilities while complying with FedRAMP High controls.
- • Participate in daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives with a cross-functional team that spans FICO, MM, SD, and HCM domains. Your fresh perspective will challenge assumptions and accelerate the adoption of DevSecOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, and continuous delivery pipelines.
- • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership at the end of the summer. Whether you demonstrate a 30 % reduction in month-end close time or a predictive model that prevents 90 % of interface failures, your work will have a direct, measurable impact on national security operations.
- • Grow through formal mentorship, on-the-job shadowing, and access to CACI University’s 5,000+ technical courses. By August, you will have earned micro-credentials in SAP HANA modeling, Azure AI fundamentals, and federal cybersecurity frameworks that turbo-charge your future career.
