  • • This role is based in the US or Canada, supporting our globally distributed team and allowing you to find your most productive work environment, whether it's from home, a cafe, or any other preferred location.
  • • We are seeking a highly analytical and technically adept professional to spearhead finance-related workflows, bridging the critical areas of Finance, Revenue Operations (RevOps), and Product Management. This individual will be the principal architect and administrator of our Order-to-Cash (O2C) ecosystem, encompassing everything from product configuration across our technology stack to the final stages of payment collection. Their efforts will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and scalable growth of our revenue.
  • • This position necessitates extensive cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with teams in Finance, RevOps, Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, Product, and Engineering. Your responsibilities will include developing intricate billing logic for new product offerings, proactively troubleshooting and resolving issues, managing customer order modifications, and significantly enhancing the quality and reliability of our commercial data and associated workflows.
  • • A core objective of this role will be to establish more structured and scalable processes, aligning with our company's next phase of significant growth. As you integrate into the role and demonstrate your capabilities, you will assume increasing ownership of key financial operations. An immediate area for expanded responsibility will be the management of our commissions process, including the accurate, timely, and scalable calculation and administration of commissions for over 40 employees.
  • • Key responsibilities include owning and managing the entire billing stack. This involves administering metering, usage tracking, and billing logic for a complex, multi-SKU product portfolio, primarily utilizing our third-party billing software. You will drive the monthly invoicing process from initiation to completion, ensuring absolute accuracy and completeness, and establishing robust structures where current processes may be less defined.
  • • You will serve as the primary point of contact for billing support, assisting GTM (Go-To-Market) and Finance stakeholders with inquiries related to contract terms, billed usage, invoicing discrepancies, discounts, and triaging issues between configuration challenges and engineering problems.
  • • A crucial aspect of the role involves enabling internal teams to effectively interpret billing data. This includes building and refining processes to make billing data more transparent, accessible, and understandable across the entire organization. Furthermore, you will empower our customers by ensuring they can clearly understand their invoices and contractual agreements.
  • • You will play a pivotal role in the implementation of new products. This involves close partnership with Product and Engineering teams to define the optimal billing approach for new offerings, subsequently implementing this logic within our CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) system (in collaboration with RevOps) and our core billing software.
  • • You will actively support pricing and packaging rollouts, including the introduction of new SKUs, updated bundles, and expansion into new regions. Your work will ensure these changes are accurately reflected across all downstream systems and customer invoices.
  • • You will contribute to informing pricing strategy by recommending innovative models, particularly concerning renewal periods, that foster mutually beneficial outcomes for both our customers and the business.
  • • Continuous monitoring of operational health across your designated scope is essential. This includes identifying recurring issues, pinpointing process gaps, and proactively seeking opportunities for systemic improvements and efficiencies.
  • • You will act as a key escalation point for the collections team when complex ambiguities arise during contract discussions, ensuring swift and accurate resolution.
