- • Onboard new customers onto Workato by providing technical consulting, guidance, and enablement to drive fast time-to-value.
- • Gather integration and automation requirements from customer business and technical stakeholders and lead collaborative solution design.
- • Share best practices on deployment models, governance, integration design, and build methodologies; partner with Product and Engineering teams to relay platform feedback.
- • Act as a trusted advisor and customer advocate throughout the customer lifecycle.
- • Conduct post-onboarding health checks and guide customers on optimization of integrations and business processes.
- • Create and contribute reusable technical content including presentations, demos, best practices, architecture patterns, and online courses for customers and internal teams.
- • Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities while maintaining a high standard of customer service and delivery.
- • Independently build multi-step integrations across enterprise applications using authentication, error handling, version control, and reusable components.
- • Participate in CI/CD pipelines and peer code reviews for integration solutions.
- • Perform gap analysis and design end-to-end workflows using standard patterns such as hub-and-spoke and event-driven architectures, balancing scalability, maintainability, and security.
- • Build conditional, error-handled Workato recipes with role-based access, encrypted fields, custom connectors, and HTTP modules, adhering to Workato best practices for staging-to-production lifecycle management.
- • Apply understanding of AI systems and enterprise intelligence, including prebuilt AI connectors within governed environments, and remain aware of AI ethics, privacy, bias, and transparency.
- • Demonstrate familiarity with governance frameworks such as GEARS, document design decisions for traceability, and understand how governance impacts project outcomes.
- • Research customer industry processes and terminology, accurately use customer vocabulary, and connect domain context to solution design with guidance from domain experts.
- • Apply structured logic and pattern recognition to resolve moderately complex issues, using data and evidence to support recommendations and question assumptions.
- • Manage multiple priorities with foresight, plan short workstreams independently, balance workload with contingency, and align dependencies across small teams.
- • Articulate how changes in one system or team affect others, surface dependencies and handoff risks, and use diagrams to explain connections when proposing solutions.
- • Move work forward proactively without reminders, coordinate to remove blockers, volunteer for stretch tasks, and remain productive under ambiguity.
- • Speak up to share ideas and support team initiatives, explain reasoning respectfully with examples, and actively seek feedback to improve communication.
- • Apply new learning to recurring delivery challenges, connect insights from multiple sources, learn from successes and failures, and share knowledge with peers.
- • Tailor recommendations to stakeholder context, explain trade-offs and assumptions, use examples and data to support advice, and adjust based on feedback.
- • Reflect others’ perspectives accurately, use calm and neutral language under tension, and address performance or collaboration issues directly and constructively.
- • Deliver clear presentations in meetings and async channels, adapt emphasis to audience, and structure complex information using frameworks like problem–solution–outcome.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of hands-on experience in solutions and implementation consulting.
- • Working knowledge of integrations, system design principles, and app integration industry trends.
- • Working knowledge of SQL, on-prem and cloud deployment models, and the SDLC end-to-end.
- • Experience with one iPaaS platform (Workato, Tray, TIBCO, Boomi, MuleSoft, WebMethods, Oracle Integration Suite).
- • Ability to produce quality technical documentation.
- • Plus: experience with JavaScript frontend/backend; OEM/embedded SaaS or iFrame integration.
