- • Own the first 90 days of every customer engagement. You will be the very first technical face our clients see after the ink dries on the contract, setting the tone for a partnership that can last years. From kick-off call to model hand-off, you orchestrate every step so the customer feels heard, guided, and confident that UptimeAI will deliver measurable impact.
- • Lead deep-dive discovery workshops on-site or remotely. You will interview reliability engineers, process engineers, operations managers, and data historians to map asset hierarchies, failure modes, KPI definitions, and data availability. Every conversation is translated into crisp user stories, data dictionaries, and model logic that our offshore data-science squad can execute against without second-guessing intent.
- • Translate complex industrial language into structured technical specs. You will convert phrases like “we need to predict catalyst deactivation three weeks in advance” into precise data requirements: temperature profiles, pressure drop trends, regeneration cycles, and lab sample frequencies. Your specs become the blueprint for feature engineering, model training, and validation scripts.
- • Drive ruthless prioritization to compress time-to-value. You will triage hundreds of potential use-cases into a high-impact MVP that can be deployed in 8–12 weeks, then socialize a phased roadmap that keeps momentum and executive sponsorship alive.
- • Act as the single point of technical truth for the customer. Daily Slack threads, weekly steering committees, monthly QBRs—you own them all. When a data pipeline breaks or a model underperforms, you are the calm voice explaining root cause, remediation plan, and revised timelines.
- • Identify and neutralize risks before they become blockers. Whether it is a historian tag missing six months of data or a plant firewall rule blocking cloud egress, you surface the issue, quantify impact, and coordinate fixes across IT, OT, and third-party vendors.
- • Champion the customer inside UptimeAI. You will brief product managers on feature gaps that cost renewals, lobby engineering for roadmap accelerations, and share win stories that fuel marketing campaigns. Your voice ensures the customer’s reality shapes our future.
- • Mentor junior consultants and offshore analysts. Through pair-reviews, playbooks, and lunch-and-learns you raise the bar for discovery quality, storytelling, and industrial fluency across the entire delivery organization.
- • Measure and broadcast success. You will co-author value-realization reports that translate model alerts into avoided downtime, energy savings, and incremental throughput—turning technical wins into CFO-level ROI that secures renewals and expansions.
- • Travel up to 25 % to refineries, chemical plants, and power stations across North America. When a critical commissioning milestone demands face-time, you pack your PPE and go—running FATs, SATs, and operator training sessions that leave control-room crews excited, not overwhelmed.
