📋 Description

  • As a Technical Customer Success Manager at Apify, you will serve as the trusted technical advisor and strategic partner for developers and enterprises leveraging web automation tools to solve real-world challenges — from powering AI chatbots with contextual web data to enabling market research and even aiding in humanitarian efforts like fighting child trafficking. Your role is critical in ensuring customers not only adopt Apify’s platform but derive measurable, lasting value, turning technical success into long-term loyalty and growth.
  • Day to day, you will: build deep, trust-based relationships with developer and enterprise customers by understanding their technical workflows and business objectives; proactively guide them through Apify’s SDKs, CLI, API, and Crawlee to overcome integration hurdles and optimize usage; collaborate with engineering teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues when customers encounter roadblocks; run engaging demos, webinars, and workshops showcasing new features and innovative use cases to drive product adoption; monitor customer health and engagement metrics to identify at-risk accounts and initiate timely interventions; uncover expansion opportunities through renewals, upsells, and cross-sells by aligning Apify’s capabilities with evolving customer needs; conduct quarterly business reviews to align on goals, ROI, and future roadmaps; advocate for customer-driven product improvements by feeding insights back to Product, Marketing, and Sales teams; and help transition low-touch accounts into high-value, strategic partnerships through tailored support and guidance.
  • You’ll join a mission-driven, engineer-led team at Apify where customer success is deeply intertwined with technical excellence and product innovation.   • In this role, you will sharpen your ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for diverse audiences; develop strategic account management skills grounded in data-driven insights and business acumen; gain deep expertise in web automation, scraping, AI integration, and SaaS platforms; and grow into a trusted advisor who influences both customer outcomes and product direction — all while contributing to meaningful projects that have real-world impact, from advancing scientific research to protecting vulnerable communities.

🎯 Requirements

  • Proven experience in software development, web development, or web technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Python, APIs, headless browsers, proxies, or SaaS/PaaS platforms)
  • Background in customer success, product advocacy, or technical account management with hands-on experience in renewals, upsells, churn prevention, and business reviews
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and explain Apify’s SDKs, CLI, API, and Crawlee to developer audiences
  • Excellent communication skills in English — both written and verbal — with a talent for simplifying complex topics
  • Demonstrated ability to identify growth opportunities, take initiative, and drive results through collaboration and persistence
