- • Create and maintain operating, installation, commissioning, and maintenance manuals for robotic systems used in industrial settings such as warehouses and factories.
- • Produce safety and compliance documentation including CE marking and instructions for use, aligned with relevant directives and standards such as the Machinery Directive and IEC/IEEE 82079.
- • Translate complex technical concepts from mechanical, electrical, and software engineering into clear, structured, and user-friendly content for diverse audiences including operators, integrators, and developers.
- • Build and enforce documentation standards including templates, style guides, terminology databases, and version control protocols to ensure consistency across all product documentation.
- • Develop supporting visuals such as diagrams, exploded views, screenshots, and step-by-step illustrations to enhance understanding and usability of technical content.
- • Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, software, and product engineering teams to gather accurate technical information and ensure documentation remains current with product iterations.
- • Manage end-to-end documentation workflows, including internal reviews, approvals, and coordination of localization and translation efforts for international markets.
- • Serve as the primary bridge between engineering teams and end users of robotic systems, ensuring documentation supports safe, efficient deployment, operation, and maintenance.
- • Maintain up-to-date product and API reference documentation to support technical integrators and developers working with Sereact’s automation platforms.
- • Ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements and industry best practices for industrial robotics and automation equipment.
- • Work within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment to deliver high-quality documentation that scales with product development and company growth.
- • Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy across the technical content lifecycle.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- • 3+ years of experience in technical documentation, ideally in robotics, automation, machinery, or hardware/software products
- • Experience documenting both hardware and software products
- • Excellent writing and editing skills in English; German is a strong plus
- • Proficiency with documentation and authoring tools
- • Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and explain them clearly and precisely
