- • Your primary responsibility will be to own the entire enterprise new-business pipeline from inception to closure. This involves meticulously identifying target accounts within the government contracting ecosystem, conducting in-depth research into their current contracting posture, and initiating strategic conversations that clearly articulate how GovSignals' AI-driven platform can address their most pressing needs and strategic objectives.
- • You will lead comprehensive discovery sessions, delving deep into how prospective clients currently source opportunities, develop proposals, and manage compliance requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in mapping out precisely where the GovSignals platform can deliver tangible improvements by compressing timelines, reducing costs, and mitigating risks associated with the government contracting process.

- • Architecting creative and effective enterprise deal structures will be a critical function. - • Your ability to shorten sales cycles will be paramount. This will be achieved by proactively anticipating potential blockers, aligning key decision-makers across the prospect organization, and guiding them through the evaluation process with a clear, structured, and persuasive approach.
- • You will be responsible for developing compelling business cases and Return on Investment (ROI) models. These analyses will quantify the expansion of opportunities, the significant savings in proposal development time, improvements in compliance, and the overall resource efficiencies that the GovSignals platform enables for enterprise clients.
- • This role demands close collaboration with our Product and Engineering teams. You will provide structured, actionable feedback derived from your sales interactions, highlighting data needs, suggesting workflow refinements, and articulating enterprise feature requests that emerge during the sales process, thereby influencing product development.
- • A seamless transition from sales to client engagement is essential. You will work closely with the Client Success team to ensure a smooth handoff of newly signed contracts, setting clear expectations regarding onboarding timelines, workflows, and key success milestones.
- • You will represent GovSignals at industry conferences and events, actively engaging with prospects, identifying high-value conversations, and generating qualified pipeline through direct, in-person interactions.
- • Maintaining disciplined CRM hygiene is non-negotiable. Accurate forecasting, clearly defined next steps, and consistent visibility into all active opportunities are critical for effective pipeline management and business reporting.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 5 years of progressive B2B SaaS sales experience, with a proven history of operating successfully within complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise environments.
- • Consistent track record of exceeding annual quotas exceeding $1 million, with demonstrated success in closing six- and seven-figure enterprise contracts.
- • Experience thriving in a startup or high-growth environment, or a demonstrated ability to build initiatives from the ground up, exhibiting comfort with autonomy, rapid pace, and non-traditional working hours.
- • Proven ability to engineer creative and bespoke enterprise solutions, moving beyond a transactional sales approach to design comprehensive deals and demonstrate true business development acumen.
- • High demo-to-close rates, coupled with a proactive willingness to supplement pipeline generation through various channels including conferences, targeted outbound outreach, and hands-on prospecting.
- • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with extensive experience engaging directly with C-suite level stakeholders.
