• • As a Technical Lead for Fullstack at Juniper Square, you will be at the forefront of innovation, architecting and driving the development of cutting-edge web applications and sophisticated distributed systems that power the private markets. Your mission will be to translate complex financial concepts into elegant, scalable, and robust technological solutions, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and accessibility for our users.
• • You will spearhead the technical vision for full-stack projects, encompassing everything from intuitive user-facing interfaces to high-performance backend services and resilient cloud infrastructure. This leadership role demands a blend of deep technical expertise and strong people management skills, enabling you to guide and mentor engineering teams effectively.
• • Your responsibilities will include defining the architectural direction, making critical design decisions, and upholding the highest standards of code quality and engineering best practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle. You will be instrumental in the end-to-end delivery of features, from initial concept and design through development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• • In the realm of backend engineering, you will architect and build robust services, with a strong preference for Python and the FastAPI framework, or alternatively, Java utilizing frameworks like Spring Boot or Quarkus. A key aspect of this will be designing and implementing scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs, meticulously focusing on performance, security, and long-term maintainability.
• • You will also be responsible for constructing asynchronous processing pipelines and microservices, leveraging tools such as Celery, RabbitMQ, or Redis to ensure efficient and decoupled system operations. Designing efficient database schemas and optimizing queries for both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases will be crucial for data integrity and retrieval speed.
• • Furthermore, you will implement advanced caching strategies and continuously optimize backend services to achieve high throughput and unwavering reliability, ensuring our platform can handle significant load and deliver a seamless experience.
• • On the frontend, you will develop modern, dynamic web applications using ReactJS and TypeScript. This involves designing reusable UI components and establishing a scalable frontend architecture that can evolve with our product roadmap.
• • You will be responsible for implementing sophisticated state management solutions, seamlessly integrating with backend APIs, and crafting responsive, user-friendly interfaces. Close collaboration with our design and product teams will be essential to translate user needs and design visions into exceptional user experiences.
• • Ensuring that frontend applications meet high standards for performance, accessibility, and maintainability will be a core part of your role, contributing to a polished and professional user interface.
• • In terms of cloud and DevOps, you will be involved in deploying, managing, and optimizing applications on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and IAM. You will play a key role in establishing and refining CI/CD pipelines, implementing automated testing strategies, and managing environment provisioning.
• • The use of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and microservice orchestration will be integral to your work, ensuring efficient deployment and scaling. You will also champion system observability through comprehensive logging, monitoring, and distributed tracing, providing critical insights into system health and performance.
• • Architecturally, you will lead discussions and drive decisions on scalability, distributed systems design, effective caching strategies, and the implementation of event-driven patterns. Your focus will be on designing full-stack solutions that strike an optimal balance between performance, reliability, and user experience.
• • You will champion the adoption of cloud-native architectures and modern engineering practices, ensuring our technology stack remains at the cutting edge. A critical component of this will be ensuring strict adherence to security best practices and relevant compliance standards across all developed systems.
