📋 Description

• • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of new features for first notice of loss (FNOL) applications that thousands of policyholders and adjusters rely on every day. From ideation through release, you will translate user pain-points into crisp user stories, acceptance criteria, and wireframes that guide engineering sprints.
• • Partner daily with a senior Product Manager to conduct discovery interviews with claims adjusters, underwriters, and customer-service teams. You will synthesize qualitative feedback and quantitative usage data into concise problem statements and opportunity briefs that shape the product roadmap.
• • Collaborate across engineering, UX design, QA, and marketing to ensure every release meets performance, security, and usability standards for the highly regulated insurance industry. You will run sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, learning Agile ceremonies from the inside out.
• • Build and maintain a living product requirements document in Jira/Confluence that captures user personas, journey maps, and feature specs. Your documentation will serve as the single source of truth for developers, designers, and compliance reviewers.
• • Analyze KPI dashboards (conversion rates, time-to-report, customer-satisfaction scores) to identify friction points and propose A/B tests that improve the claims intake experience. You will present findings to leadership every two weeks, honing your data-storytelling skills.
• • Shadow customer-support calls and on-site visits to terminal locations in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. These real-world observations will ground your product decisions and give you first-hand insight into how technology reduces loss-adjustment expenses.
• • Contribute to go-to-market plans by drafting release notes, training slides, and internal FAQ documents. You will also help coordinate user-acceptance testing sessions with pilot business units, ensuring smooth adoption of each new capability.
• • Champion accessibility and inclusive design standards so that every policyholder—regardless of age, device, or ability—can report a claim quickly and confidently. Your work will directly impact customer trust and brand reputation.
• • Participate in weekly innovation workshops run by the Claims Digital Lab, where you will pitch rapid prototypes, compete in mini-hackathons, and learn how emerging technologies like AI triage and telematics can reshape the future of claims.
• • Leave the internship with a portfolio piece: a case study detailing how you moved an idea from concept to production, complete with metrics, stakeholder testimonials, and lessons learned—an asset for future product-management interviews.
