📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end development of Jerry.ai’s AI platform and customer experiences, from roadmap conception to global rollout, focusing on automating car ownership services using LLMs, agents, and internal APIs.
• Partner directly with engineering teams to design prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and safety guardrails that balance latency, cost, and accuracy in production AI systems.
• Serve as the technical bridge between engineering and cross-functional teams, translating complex AI concepts into clear product requirements and establishing platform-wide AI best practices.
• Drive systematic improvements in answer quality, automation rates, and customer satisfaction through rigorous experimentation, A/B testing, and data-backed iteration.
• Collaborate with OpenAI to evaluate, test, and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation capabilities integrated into the ChatGPT App.
• Own the strategic evolution of an AI system that currently automates over 70% of inbound sales and service requests, expanding its scope to new car ownership use cases.
• Define and implement standards for AI platform architecture, including API integrations, human-in-the-loop feedback loops, and model deployment protocols in a regulated production environment.
• Translate high-level business goals into technical product specifications, ensuring alignment between AI capabilities and customer needs across insurance, financing, maintenance, and safety services.
• Analyze product and system performance data using SQL to validate hypotheses, uncover optimization opportunities, and quantify impact on key metrics like automation rate and NPS.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement by staying ahead of LLM release cycles, experimenting with emerging model capabilities, and advocating for scalable AI solutions.
• Work in a fast-paced startup environment to transform a fragmented $2T car ownership market by replacing manual, outdated processes with seamless, AI-driven automation.
• Maintain deep technical fluency in modern LLM systems while effectively communicating tradeoffs and technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
• Build and scale production-grade AI products that meet high reliability, privacy, and compliance standards in a highly regulated industry.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in technical product management or management consulting at a fast-paced startup
• Proven hands-on experience with modern LLM systems and familiarity with deploying AI in regulated production environments
• Demonstrated ability to navigate technical tradeoffs in AI system design (latency, cost, accuracy) and lead implementation of platform standards
• Strong SQL skills and experience using data to validate hypotheses and drive product decisions
• Track record of turning complex strategic AI ideas into scalable, production-grade products
• Intrinsically motivated technologist with firsthand experience building custom AI workflows and staying current on model release notes
