- • The Technical Program Manager, AI & Automation role at Covey Technologies, Inc. (operating as DoorDash) is a strategic, cross-functional position focused on driving efficiency and innovation within the Enterprise Sales organization by leading AI-enabled automation initiatives that reduce manual work and improve decision-making at scale.
- • This role is critical to transforming how Enterprise teams operate by identifying high-impact workflows, building scalable technical solutions, and ensuring adoption across sales, strategy, product, and engineering teams to unlock measurable operational gains.
- • You will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI and automation programs—from discovering manual processes ripe for optimization, to designing and deploying scalable solutions, to measuring impact and driving organization-wide enablement.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include partnering with Enterprise Account Management, Strategy & Operations, Product, Engineering, and Data teams to map workflows, translate business needs into technical requirements, and prioritize initiatives based on potential impact and feasibility.
- • You will own the execution of automation programs, coordinating with engineering and data teams to build or integrate tools using APIs, automation platforms, and internal systems, while ensuring alignment with data pipelines, ETL processes, and system dependencies.
- • A key part of your role will be deploying AI-enabled tools—such as predictive models, natural language processing applications, or intelligent workflow bots—to automate repetitive tasks like lead scoring, opportunity forecasting, or report generation.
- • You will design and run structured pilots, gather user feedback, iterate on solutions, and develop enablement materials, training sessions, and documentation to drive adoption across distributed teams in New York and Chicago.
- • You will establish metrics to measure the impact of automation—such as time saved, error reduction, or increased deal velocity—and report insights to leadership to inform future investment and scaling decisions.
- • The Enterprise Insights & Analytics team, where this role sits, is a high-visibility group that partners closely with senior leadership to turn data into action, and you will collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and product managers to build reusable analytics infrastructure and self-service tools.
- • The team operates at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution, fostering a culture of experimentation, continuous improvement, and cross-functional accountability.
- • You will gain deep exposure to DoorDash’s enterprise go-to-market strategy, advanced analytics practices, and modern automation technologies, positioning you to grow into broader leadership roles in tech program management, product, or operations.
- • This role offers the opportunity to shape how AI and automation are adopted across a fast-growing technology company, leaving a lasting impact on how teams work and make decisions.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of experience in technical program management, analytics, strategy, consulting, or a related field.
- • Proficiency in SQL and Python, with a solid understanding of data foundations including ETL processes, data pipelines, and system dependencies.
- • Technical fluency with APIs, automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Tray.io, internal tooling), and experience deploying AI-enabled tools or internal data products.
- • Proven ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders, translate ambiguous business problems into scalable solutions, and communicate complex ideas clearly.
- • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives from discovery through pilot and scale, with a track record of measuring operational impact and driving adoption.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive base salary ranging from $136,000 to $200,000 USD, localized to work location (New York, NY or Chicago, IL), with additional equity grant opportunities.
- • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with employer matching, and 16 weeks of paid parental leave.
- • Wellness benefits, commuter benefits match, flexible paid time off, 80 hours of paid sick time per year for salaried roles, and 11 paid holidays.
