- • Lead the cross-vertical operating cadence for Chemical Simulation, managing weekly stand-ups, monthly business reviews, and quarterly reporting cycles to ensure on-time, audit-ready delivery to U.S. government stakeholders.
- • Own the single source of truth for milestones, dependencies, risks, and key decisions across seven semiconductor material programmatic areas, proactively surfacing variances and driving corrective actions with the General Manager and Vertical Leads.
- • Serve as the primary day-to-day operational interface with U.S. government counterparts, translating technical progress into compliance-grade narratives, deliverables, and quarterly updates that meet federal contracting standards.
- • Coordinate cross-functional execution across Vertical Leads, Platform Engineering, Product, Business Development, Recruiting, Finance, and Legal/Compliance teams to unblock initiatives and safeguard program timelines.
- • Design, operationalize, and scale the program management toolkit for Chemical Simulation, including dashboards, decision logs, resourcing models, and standardized reporting templates that remain effective through leadership transitions.
- • Establish and maintain program governance structures aligned with U.S. federal contract requirements, ensuring adherence to milestone reporting, compliance documentation, and contracting cadence.
- • Collaborate closely with senior scientists, engineers, and executives to align priorities, challenge technical schedules and scope, and drive trade-off decisions when scope, time, or budget are at risk.
- • Translate complex technical details into clear, actionable communication for non-technical government and executive audiences, ensuring alignment and informed decision-making at all levels.
- • Support the execution of federally funded R&D programs within the AI Simulation Business Unit, contributing to the scaling of operations across multiple high-stakes technical verticals.
- • Maintain rigorous documentation and reporting standards required for federal contracts, ensuring all deliverables are audit-ready and compliant with government contractual obligations.
- • Drive operational excellence by building scalable processes and tools that enable the AI Simulation team to grow efficiently while maintaining quality, compliance, and timeline integrity.
- • Act as a bridge between technical teams and government stakeholders, ensuring technical outcomes are accurately represented in compliance frameworks and reporting structures.
- • Contribute to the establishment of a new business unit operating system in a high-growth environment, helping to institutionalize best practices for program management across science and engineering domains.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years managing complex, multi-workstream technical programs in regulated, high-stakes environments (e.g., federal contracts, defense, large enterprise R&D)
- • Demonstrated experience operating against U.S. Government program requirements, including milestone reporting, compliance documentation, and contracting cadence
- • Strong technical literacy in AI, scientific computing, or materials/chemistry programs to credibly challenge schedules, scope, and dependencies with senior scientists and engineers
- • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (engineering, computer science, physical sciences, or related); advanced degree preferred
- • Must be a U.S. Person (Permanent Resident or Citizen) due to U.S. Government contractual requirements
- • Exceptional executive-level communication skills to translate technical detail for non-technical audiences and drive trade-off conversations under constraints

- • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
- • 401(k) with company match and generous parental leave
- • Flexible hybrid work arrangements, generous PTO, and culture that respects focus time and recovery
