Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Own end-to-end release coordination for North, managing release trains, defining cadences, and ensuring smooth execution across engineering and product teams
  • • Drive cherry-pick and hotfix approval workflows by triaging urgency, aligning stakeholders, and shepherding changes through deployment with appropriate guardrails
  • • Author and manage customer-facing release communications, translating technical changes into clear, accurate updates for enterprise customers and internal stakeholders
  • • Establish and scale release processes that enable North’s teams to ship faster and with greater confidence as the platform grows
  • • Map cross-team dependencies and risks across the release pipeline, surfacing blockers early and coordinating resolution across engineering, product, and customer success teams
  • • Partner directly with North Leadership and Members of Technical Staff to improve release quality, velocity, and operational rigor
  • • Manage project tracking tools including Linear and GitHub workflows, and facilitate release planning sessions across cross-functional teams
  • • Respond quickly to program-level changes by clarifying scope, adjusting timelines, and marshalling the right resources when customer or market priorities shift
  • • Build the structure, rhythms, and visibility mechanisms that allow multiple product teams and their cross-functional partners to execute with clarity
  • • Operate as the program architecture backbone for an early-stage, high-visibility program with multiple workstreams in flight
  • • Function within a high-growth environment where you create processes from scratch rather than inherit them
  • • Maintain fluency in AI/ML product development and have credibility in technical conversations about dependencies and constraints without requiring translation
  • • Work in ambiguous, low-structure environments where pragmatic shipping outweighs perfectionism
  • • Influence cross-functional leaders in Finance, GTM, and engineering without formal authority to align priorities and drive outcomes
  • • Maintain a holistic understanding of multiple simultaneous workstreams, spotting cascading risks early and keeping parallel programs moving without losing thread
  • • Deliver crisp, decision-ready executive communications by distilling complex, multi-team status into clear updates for senior leadership
  • • Know when to escalate issues versus resolve them independently based on organizational impact
  • • Operate within a team focused on scaling frontier AI models for developers and enterprises building content generation, semantic search, RAG, and agent systems

🎯 Requirements

  • • 4+ years as an Engineering or Technical Program Manager, with experience building programs at a startup or high-growth company
  • • Demonstrated experience running multiple simultaneous workstreams while maintaining visibility and preventing bottlenecks
  • • Strong executive communication skills: ability to distill complex status into crisp, decision-ready updates for senior leadership
  • • Fluency with AI/ML product development and ability to engage in credible technical conversations about dependencies and constraints
  • • Experience creating processes from scratch in ambiguous, low-structure environments
  • • Cross-functional influence without authority: ability to align Finance, GTM, and engineering teams with competing priorities

🏖️ Benefits

  • • An open and inclusive culture and work environment
  • • Weekly lunch stipend, in-office lunches & snacks
  • • Full health and dental benefits, including a separate budget for mental health
  • • 100% parental leave top-up for up to 6 months
  • • Personal enrichment benefits for arts and culture, fitness, well-being, quality time, and workspace improvement
  • • Remote-flexible with offices in Toronto, New York, San Francisco, London, and Paris, plus a co-working stipend
  • • 6 weeks of vacation (30 working days)
