📋 Description

• A Technical Researcher / Writer role focused on producing honest, reproducible technical content through real benchmarking and coding, not AI-generated slop, to build long-term trust with engineers.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include writing code to benchmark APIs and tools, running estimations over time, testing no-code and agent ecosystems, improving documentation through hands-on use, and publishing verifiable comparisons that rank and convert.
• SearchApi Inc. is a lean, profitable, bootstrapped SaaS company delivering real-time SERP data from 100+ search engines to Fortune 500s, AI startups, and developers, operating without VC pressure and focused on shipping real products.
• The role offers deep learning in technical research, AI tooling evaluation, benchmarking methodologies, and SaaS business operations, with the opportunity to own evergreen content that influences technical decisions for years.

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to write long-form technical pieces supported by verifiable code, data, or benchmarks that can be reproduced from scratch.
• Comfort with APIs, spreadsheets, simple scripting, and data visualization to conduct honest benchmarking and estimation over time.
• Hands-on experience testing and reviewing no-code platforms, agent frameworks, or AI workflows (e.g., n8n, OpenClaw, Hermes, MCP).
• Self-directed work style with the initiative to choose research topics and own projects end to end without external direction.
• Native or near-native English proficiency, as writing is the core output of the role.
