- • As a Technical Specialist for Strategic Accounts at Lightspeed Commerce Inc., you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to high-value hospitality clients in the Ghent region, ensuring seamless operation and maximum ROI from their Lightspeed K-Series platform through proactive support, strategic guidance, and deep product expertise.
- • You will deliver premium, white-glove technical support via email, phone, video, and on-site engagements, resolving complex issues while anticipating client needs to prevent escalations and drive long-term satisfaction and retention.
- • You will partner with Strategic Account Managers and Implementation teams to facilitate smooth onboarding, conduct account health syncs, lead joint customer meetings, and champion feature adoption that translates into measurable business growth for clients.
- • You will act as the voice of the customer internally, synthesizing insights from complex technical challenges to influence product strategy, write and maintain troubleshooting guides, and ensure knowledge is shared across global support teams.
- • You will manage high-stakes technical escalations end-to-end, employing advanced diagnostic techniques to isolate root causes, coordinate with engineering and product teams, and communicate clearly with stakeholders to ensure total customer satisfaction.
- • You will provide tailored training sessions to new and existing staff at client locations, empowering them to fully leverage the Lightspeed ecosystem and improve operational efficiency.
- • You will maintain meticulous documentation of account-specific configurations, resolutions, and best practices, creating a living knowledge base that supports consistent, high-quality service delivery across the organization.
- • You will continuously develop cross-platform expertise across all Lightspeed hospitality solutions, enabling you to provide versatile, high-level support regardless of the client’s specific technology stack.
- • You will contribute to team objectives beyond your core responsibilities, embracing a collaborative mindset that supports organizational goals even when tasks fall outside your formal scope.
- • You will operate with autonomy and strong self-management skills, prioritizing incoming requests across multiple channels while honoring customer commitments and SLAs in a fast-paced, 24/7 support environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English; additional languages are a bonus.
- • Extensive customer service experience in a technical support role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- • Proven troubleshooting skills in a senior support position, with strong problem-solving abilities to ensure customers maximize their POS system’s capacity.
- • Ability to self-manage incoming emails, telephone calls, video calls, meetings, and on-site visits based on priority and customer commitments.
- • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Mac OS.
- • Flexibility in schedule to accommodate support needs that extend beyond standard business hours.
