- • Provide technical support for Tenable’s vulnerability assessment and compliance auditing software, including Nessus and related products, to enterprise customers globally.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in customer environments using remote diagnostic techniques and lab-based reproduction of reported problems.
- • Analyze vulnerability scan results, system audits, and log events to identify security risks and deliver clear, actionable guidance to customers.
- • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Advocacy, Research & Development, and Operations teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and accurate issue escalation.
- • Capture and channel customer feedback into Product Management and R&D to influence product improvements and feature development.
- • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Tenable’s product suite, cybersecurity best practices, and emerging threats to provide accurate and timely support.
- • Create and publish reusable knowledge base articles and solutions to empower customers and internal teams with self-service resources.
- • Monitor and optimize personal performance metrics to consistently meet or exceed support targets and service level agreements.
- • Work within a fast-paced environment managing multiple concurrent customer cases while maintaining high-quality resolution standards.
- • Adapt to occasional weekend or holiday work schedules to support global customer needs and critical incident response.
- • Demonstrate proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP), Linux/Unix, macOS, and Windows administration, including system configuration and patch deployment.
- • Engage with AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance case resolution efficiency and improve customer experience through AI-driven tools.
- • Contribute to a culture of belonging, respect, and excellence by partnering with talented professionals across the organization.
- • Pursue opportunities for career advancement within Technical Support or other departments at Tenable based on performance and interest.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience
- • 2+ years of professional experience with networking (TCP/IP), Linux/Unix, macOS, Windows administration, patch deployment, and system configuration
- • Experience providing technical support to enterprise clients, troubleshooting complex issues in production or customer environments
- • Must be based on or reside on the West Coast
- • Demonstrated interest in AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), with hands-on experience professionally or personally
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication
