- • Are you passionate about demystifying complex technical concepts and empowering others with knowledge? Do you excel at transforming intricate details into clear, actionable training programs? Designed Conveyor Systems, Inc. (DCS) is seeking a highly skilled and engaging Technical Trainer, Automation Systems (PLC and Controls) to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is designed for an individual who thrives on breaking down sophisticated automation and PLC control systems into understandable, practical, and hands-on training experiences for our valued customers. You will be instrumental in equipping Maintenance and Operations teams with the confidence and expertise needed to effectively manage and maintain their automated conveyor systems, thereby fostering stronger, more enduring customer relationships.
- • In this role, you will be the architect of learning, bringing structure, clarity, and innovative thinking to every training session you design and deliver. Your keen eye for detail will help identify knowledge gaps, and your ability to simplify technical jargon will ensure that training materials are not only informative but also highly relevant and applicable in real-world operational environments. You will transform safety protocols, operational guidelines, maintenance manuals, and standard operating procedures into comprehensive and effective training plans that resonate with diverse audiences. This includes coordinating and managing vendor-led training sessions during project implementations, ensuring all necessary supporting documentation is organized and accessible. A key aspect of your role will involve maintaining open and clear communication channels with both Maintenance and Operations teams to guarantee that all contractual training requirements are meticulously met. You will be responsible for meticulously tracking all completed training sessions, actively soliciting feedback from participants, and leveraging this input to drive continuous improvement in the quality and effectiveness of our training programs. Furthermore, you will proactively identify situations where customers may require additional support, scheduling and coordinating remedial training sessions, which includes managing the associated billing processes. To enhance the learning experience and provide valuable resources, you will also be tasked with capturing high-quality video footage of maintenance procedures, which will be integrated into our training documentation and support materials. This role requires a significant degree of mobility, with up to 50 percent travel expected to customer and vendor sites, both domestically and potentially internationally, to deliver training and gather insights.
- • This position offers a unique opportunity to blend your technical expertise with your passion for teaching. You will work with cutting-edge automation technology and play a crucial role in ensuring our customers achieve maximum value and uptime from their DCS systems. Your ability to adapt to different learning styles and operational contexts will be key to your success. You will be a trusted advisor, helping our clients navigate the complexities of their automated systems and build internal capabilities. The impact of your work will be directly visible in the enhanced performance and efficiency of our customers' operations. You will contribute to DCS's reputation for excellence by ensuring our clients are not just users of our systems, but masters of them. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to make a tangible difference and build lasting partnerships through knowledge transfer and support.
- • As a Technical Trainer, you will be a vital link between DCS's innovative solutions and our customers' operational success. You will embody our commitment to customer satisfaction and technical excellence. Your contributions will directly influence customer retention and satisfaction, making this a highly rewarding position for the right candidate. You will have the autonomy to shape training programs, develop new materials, and implement best practices in adult learning. This is more than just a training role; it's an opportunity to be a key player in our customer success strategy, ensuring they are well-equipped to leverage the full potential of their automated systems. You will be an ambassador for DCS, representing our brand and our commitment to quality and support in every interaction.
