- • Your primary responsibility will be the delivery of North American technical training classes. This involves providing comprehensive instruction on the ASTRO25 Infrastructure, Subscriber Radios, and the broader Motorola Solutions Ecosystem. You will be the conduit for knowledge transfer, ensuring students gain a deep understanding of technical intricacies, administrative procedures, and end-user functionalities.
- • You will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team, including NA Training Consultants, Account Managers, Customer Service Managers, and Project Managers. This collaborative approach ensures that training delivery is not only technically accurate but also aligned with customer needs and project timelines, fostering strong customer relationships and driving satisfaction.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to provide valuable training recommendations during customer planning meetings, working alongside Training Consultants. This proactive engagement helps shape training programs to meet specific customer requirements and anticipate future educational needs.
- • The ultimate goal of a Technical Trainer is to equip clients with the expertise to operate, maintain, and maximize the effectiveness of their Motorola Solutions products and solutions. Your success will be measured by the enhanced efficiency, operational excellence, and achievement of business outcomes realized by our customers.
- • Beyond direct training delivery, you will be involved in the development and administration of training programs. This includes planning and executing training events, as well as maintaining and testing a dedicated lab environment to ensure the practical application of learned concepts.
- • This role demands a high degree of independence, coupled with strong technical acumen and exceptional instructional abilities. You must be detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and possess a genuine willingness to travel extensively to customer locations across North America (over 50% travel).

A continuous thirst for knowledge and a commitment to staying abreast of technological advancements are essential for success in this role.
- • You will be instrumental in ensuring that our clients can leverage our solutions to their fullest potential, contributing directly to their operational success and reinforcing Motorola Solutions' reputation for excellence in public safety and enterprise communication.
- • Your responsibilities will extend to understanding the intricate ways different system elements form a cohesive solution, enabling you to explain complex interdependencies to trainees. You will actively research and engage cross-functionally to discover and implement innovative training methodologies and content.
- • A crucial part of your role involves staying current with the latest developments in technology and training practices, proactively considering and recommending their application to key company initiatives. This forward-thinking approach ensures our training programs remain relevant and impactful.
- • You will be expected to consult with management and peers, sharing insights and contributing to the continuous improvement of our training offerings. This collaborative spirit is vital for fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the Global Education Organization.
- • The position requires a practical and verifiable technical background, particularly with Dispatch Console Sites, RF Sites, Key Management Facilities, and Encryption within P25 Public Safety Communications Systems. This hands-on experience is critical for delivering credible and effective training.
- • You will need to demonstrate the ability to act independently to uncover and resolve technical and training-related problems, showcasing your problem-solving skills and initiative.
- • A strong customer service focus is paramount, ensuring that every interaction and training session prioritizes the client's learning experience and satisfaction.
- • You will be adept at building and maintaining strong relationships, both internally with colleagues and externally with customers and partners, fostering trust and collaboration.
- • The ability to accurately scope effort and coordinate work effectively is essential for meeting internal, external, and project-specific timelines.
- • While a High School diploma is the minimum requirement, an Associate's degree in Adult Education, Networking, or a similar field is preferred, along with a working knowledge of voice communications systems, including VoIP Dispatch Consoles, LMR, and PBX technology.
