- • Translate and post-edit machine-translated technical content from English to Korean, including software manuals, knowledge base articles, and user documentation
- • Accurately translate software user interfaces to ensure clarity and cultural relevance for Korean-speaking users
- • Collaborate with global teams of translators, technical writers, software engineers, and subject-matter experts to refine translations and resolve ambiguities
- • Conduct quality assurance on translated materials to maintain consistency, terminology accuracy, and technical precision across Red Hat’s product ecosystem
- • Use feedback from Korean-speaking customers and internal customer-facing teams to continuously improve translation quality and usability
- • Research complex IT and open source technologies to ensure technically accurate translations of Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes-related content
- • Work independently within a remote, global environment while maintaining alignment with team workflows and deadlines
- • Utilize translation management systems to track, manage, and deliver translation projects efficiently
- • Engage with open source communities and Red Hat’s product development lifecycle to understand context and improve localization outcomes
- • Maintain high standards of linguistic quality while adapting technical terminology to meet the expectations of Korean-speaking enterprise users
- • Participate in cross-language coordination efforts, particularly with teams handling other Asian language localizations such as Mandarin
- • Contribute to the development and refinement of translation style guides and terminology databases specific to Red Hat’s technical products
- • Demonstrate passion for open source technology and a commitment to building a long-term career in the technology localization industry
🎯 Requirements
- • Professional or advanced translation ability and solid writing skills in both English and Korean
- • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global, cross-functional remote team
- • Proven experience localizing software user interfaces and technical documentation from English to Korean
