đź“‹ Description
- • As a Technical Writer at Cato Networks, you will play a critical role in translating complex cloud networking and security concepts into clear, accessible documentation that empowers customers to successfully adopt and utilize the company’s pioneering SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) platform. Your work directly impacts user onboarding, product adoption, and customer satisfaction by ensuring that technical content is accurate, timely, and easy to understand—making you an essential bridge between engineering innovation and real-world user success.
- • You will create and maintain comprehensive Knowledge Base articles that explain feature overviews and provide step-by-step configuration procedures for new and updated capabilities within the Cato Cloud platform, ensuring all documentation aligns with weekly release cycles and reflects the latest product enhancements.
- • Collaborating closely with the Product Docs team and broader Product, Engineering, and Support teams, you will contribute to Cato’s mission of delivering the best SASE experience by participating in agile workflows, attending feature kickoffs, and gathering insights from subject matter experts to produce user-centric content.
- • You will be responsible for keeping documentation and Release Notes current with the platform’s weekly updates, requiring you to rapidly learn new features, assess their impact on existing content, and publish timely updates that support seamless customer upgrades and troubleshooting.
- • This role offers continuous professional growth as you deepen your expertise in cybersecurity, networking, and cloud technologies while refining your technical communication skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment that values curiosity, initiative, and adaptability.
- • You will develop the ability to anticipate user needs by writing conceptual guides and real-world use cases from scratch, helping customers not only understand how to configure features but also when and why to apply specific settings—elevating documentation from procedural manuals to strategic enablement resources.
- • Cato Networks is a trailblazer in the SASE space, having pioneered the technology that Gartner later formalized into a market category projected to reach $28.5 billion by 2028; joining this team means contributing to a visionary company led by industry legends like Shlomo Kramer, with a clear path to global market leadership in secure cloud networking.
- • You will join a collaborative, forward-thinking culture that encourages experimentation, embraces AI-assisted content creation, and values both independent initiative and teamwork—providing a supportive yet challenging environment where you can grow as a writer, technologist, and professional.
🎯 Requirements
- • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience with a strong technical and technological orientation.
- • 3 or more years of proven technical writing experience using topic-based authoring to deliver engaging, user-focused learning content.
- • Experience documenting cybersecurity solutions and a clear understanding of the IT administrator persona and their workflows.
- • Positive attitude toward collaborating with AI tools and AI-based content creation processes.
- • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to consult effectively with subject matter experts in Engineering, Support, and Product Management.
- • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technological concepts and understand not just how features work, but when and why to use them.
- • Proven track record of writing concepts and sample use cases from scratch to illustrate real-world applications of technical features.
- • Strong initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team, including maintaining focus and a sense of humor under pressure.
- • Native English proficiency.
🏖️ Benefits

- • Prior experience documenting features in a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) environment is preferred.
