- • As a Technical Writer at Lavendo Inc., you will play a critical role in making complex data privacy and security technology accessible to users by creating clear, accurate, and engaging documentation and instructional content that supports customer success and product adoption.
- • Your work will directly empower organizations to navigate evolving data privacy regulations with confidence, ensuring they can fully leverage an AI-powered SaaS platform designed for compliance and governance, thereby contributing to the company’s mission of fostering transparency and ethical data practices.
- • Day to day, you will create user-friendly documentation for SaaS products, including guides, FAQs, and release notes, ensuring clarity and accessibility for diverse audiences ranging from technical administrators to business stakeholders.
- • You will develop engaging instructional videos and multimedia content that walk users through key platform features, using visual storytelling to simplify complex workflows and improve user onboarding and training outcomes.
- • You will collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather technical details, attend product demos, and ask insightful questions to ensure your documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and up to date with each release.
- • You will transform intricate technical concepts—such as data classification, policy automation, and AI-driven risk scoring—into plain-language content that resonates with both technical and non-technical users, enhancing usability and reducing support burden.
- • You will maintain consistency in tone, style, and branding across all customer-facing materials, adhering to established style guides and contributing to the continuous improvement of documentation processes and knowledge base structure.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- • 0–3+ years of experience in technical writing, content creation, or a related role (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
- • Strong written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely
- • Ability to understand SaaS platforms and collaborate effectively with developers and technical teams
- • Excellent attention to detail, storytelling skills, and a proactive, customer-focused mindset
- • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with 2–3 days per week in the Tysons, VA office
