📋 Description
- • Install and configure video and audio assistance systems for VAR operations on match days at the Replay Center in Paris and at stadium locations nationwide and internationally.
- • Perform pre-match system checks according to established procedures and standardized checklists to ensure full operational readiness.
- • Operate VAR technology during live matches, managing between 4 and 20 camera feeds in real time under strict time constraints.
- • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software malfunctions during live broadcasts and between match days to maintain uninterrupted service.
- • Report any defective or missing equipment to the materials manager prior to the next match to prevent operational disruptions.
- • Provide detailed post-match feedback and experience reports to improve system performance and operational protocols.
- • Participate in weekly technical meetings, experience reviews, and operational preparation sessions with VAR team members and officials.
- • Contribute to the maintenance and organization of the Replay Center and warehouse facilities to ensure optimal working conditions.
- • Engage in regular training sessions at the Replay Center, stadiums, and the CNF (National Football Center) alongside referees and colleagues.
- • Independently manage remote work schedules to maximize efficiency and meet operational deadlines outside of match days.
- • Support the development and testing of new VAR technologies and systems during non-match periods to enhance future operations.
- • Undertake ad hoc individual projects to address evolving operational needs and technological advancements within VAR infrastructure.
- • Travel domestically and internationally to major football events, including national championships and UEFA and FIFA competitions, to provide on-site technical support.
- • Maintain professional communication with stakeholders including referees, technical staff, and event organizers during high-pressure live environments.
- • Demonstrate a strong understanding of VAR project protocols and the technical workflow of video assistant refereeing in professional football.
- • Uphold strict adherence to broadcast procedures and operational standards in live, time-sensitive environments.
🎯 Requirements
- • Technical background with a higher education qualification in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
- • Solid knowledge of VAR technology and its operational procedures
- • Ability to work under pressure while following strict protocols during live broadcasts
- • Fluency in both French and English
