  • • Join Avantor as a dedicated Service Technician (K/M) in Poland, a pivotal role within our thriving service team. This position is crucial for providing essential technical support to our valued clients across the research, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. You will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of laboratory and production equipment, directly contributing to scientific advancements and operational excellence.
  • • As a mobile, full-time Service Technician, you will cover the DolnoĹ›lÄ…skie, MaĹ‚opolskie, ĹšlÄ…skie, ĹšwiÄ™tokrzyskie, and Podkarpackie voivodeships. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver expert on-site service, including installations, repairs (both warranty and post-warranty), and maintenance of sophisticated laboratory and production equipment. This hands-on role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • • You will conduct professional installations of equipment, ensuring seamless integration into client workflows. Furthermore, you will perform comprehensive servicing, which includes troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency. Your technical expertise will be vital in providing valuable technical advice and conducting thorough training sessions for clients, empowering them to utilize their equipment effectively and safely.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves performing critical validation and calibration of laboratory devices. This ensures that all equipment meets stringent industry standards and regulatory requirements, providing clients with accurate and reliable data for their research and production processes. Your meticulous attention to detail in these tasks will be highly valued.
  • • You will actively support the sales process by offering relevant spare parts and consumables, and by efficiently managing service-related complaints. This involves understanding client needs, identifying appropriate solutions, and ensuring timely resolution of any issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • • A thorough review of product specifications and technical documentation will be a regular part of your duties. This knowledge is essential for accurate servicing, troubleshooting, and providing informed advice to clients. You will maintain detailed documentation and records of all services performed, ensuring compliance and providing a clear history of equipment maintenance and repair.
  • • You will be the first point of contact for clients experiencing technical challenges. This includes resolving issues related to quality, application, product performance, and supply systems. Your ability to diagnose and effectively resolve complex technical problems will be paramount to maintaining strong client relationships.
  • • Beyond reactive service, you will play a role in proactive client engagement. This includes identifying opportunities to offer new solutions, developing stronger collaborations with existing clients, and potentially contributing to the acquisition of new business through excellent service delivery and technical consultation.
  • • This role demands a significant amount of travel within the assigned regions to client sites, including production facilities and laboratories. While primarily focused on Poland, there may be occasional international travel requirements, reflecting the global nature of Avantor's operations and client base.
  • • Working within a modern enterprise, you will foster trusted, partnership-based relationships with colleagues and clients alike. Avantor offers a stable employment contract within an international corporation, providing a dynamic and diverse work environment for engineers, technicians, chemists, and other professionals.
  • • Your compensation will be performance-based, tied to achieving set goals, and will include an annual performance bonus and recognition awards. Avantor provides a comprehensive benefits package, including a flexible MyBenefit cafeteria system, an employee assistance program offering legal, tax, personal, financial, and mental health advice, an educational platform, and private healthcare.
  • • Continuous professional development is a cornerstone of Avantor's culture. You will have access to extensive training opportunities, including business, technical, and soft skills development, enabling you to grow your career within a leading global organization.
  • • This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to advance their careers in a science-driven industry, contributing to life-changing scientific advancements and enjoying a rewarding and challenging work experience.
