• As a Telephone Scheduler / Researcher, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our business development and data acquisition efforts. Your primary responsibility will be the accurate and efficient collection of critical data from various sources, with a particular focus on engaging with government entities to obtain necessary information. This role requires a proactive approach, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining data integrity and compliance.
• Key responsibilities will include:
• Initiating proactive and professional communication with government entities at local, regional, and national levels to request and gather essential information relevant to our infrastructure projects and investments. This will involve understanding the specific data needs of Unison and tailoring communication accordingly.
• Identifying and engaging with suitable, key contacts within government agencies, departments, and relevant authorities. This requires research skills to pinpoint the correct individuals or departments responsible for providing the required data.
• Maintaining a consistently professional, courteous, and persistent approach while interacting with government officials and representatives, ensuring positive and productive relationships are fostered.
• Accurately collecting, verifying, and entering data from various sources into our CRM system and other designated databases. This includes ensuring all information is complete, up-to-date, and correctly categorized.
• Performing day-to-day administrative tasks related to data management, including meticulous data entry, record updates, and file organization.
• Monitoring progress against daily, weekly, and monthly data collection and research goals, proactively identifying any potential roadblocks and implementing solutions to ensure targets are met.
• Supporting the broader Unison team by promptly answering data-related queries, updating records as required, and providing necessary information to facilitate ongoing projects.
• Conducting thorough research using various methodologies to identify and verify suitable contacts within government bodies and other relevant organizations. This may involve utilizing online resources, public records, and professional networks.
• Organizing and meticulously managing all collected data within a structured and efficient database system, ensuring easy retrieval and analysis.
• Ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of the database through regular updates, data cleansing processes, and adherence to best practices.
• Implementing and strictly upholding compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations throughout all stages of data handling, collection, storage, and processing.
• Performing other appropriate duties as required by Unison Site Management to adapt to the changing demands of the business and support strategic initiatives.
• Collaborating effectively with internal teams to understand data requirements and contribute to the overall success of Unison's investment strategies.
• Developing a deep understanding of the types of data required for infrastructure investment and the specific regulatory environments in which Unison operates.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of data collection processes and database management techniques.
• Demonstrating a strong ability to balance speaking and understanding in both German and English, facilitating clear communication with a diverse range of contacts.
• Maintaining a high level of ethical conduct and professional integrity in all interactions and data handling activities.
• Proactively seeking opportunities to enhance research skills and knowledge of relevant data sources and government procedures.

🎯 Requirements

• Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including proficiency in data manipulation, formula usage, and basic analysis.
• Demonstrable ability to effectively balance speaking and understanding in both German and English, essential for communication with diverse contacts and internal teams.
• Strong research skills with the ability to identify, verify, and engage with relevant contacts within government agencies and other organizations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a professional and courteous demeanor suitable for interacting with government officials and internal stakeholders.
• A detail-conscious approach with a strong concern for accuracy in data collection, entry, and management.
