- • Manage and grow sales within the assigned New England territory by developing and implementing targeted sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.
- • Sell and promote DuPont Personal Protection portfolio, including Tyvek® and Tychem® products, to end users through a distribution channel network.
- • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, rep firms, and end-user customers to drive brand loyalty and market share growth.
- • Engage channel sellers to identify, pursue, and close high-value end-user sales opportunities, ensuring alignment with DuPont’s strategic priorities.
- • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for customers and channel partners to enhance product understanding and adoption.
- • Capture and nurture sales opportunities through active pipeline management using Salesforce.com, ensuring accurate and timely updates to opportunity records.
- • Provide subject-matter expertise on the DPP product portfolio to distribution partners, internal teams, and rep firms to strengthen sales effectiveness.
- • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the region to adapt sales approaches and develop competitive selling tools in collaboration with marketing.
- • Respond proactively to critical sales events, resolve account-level issues or threats, and coach internal and external sellers on closing smaller opportunities.
- • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and account plans to management, including detailed call reports and key account information.
- • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to promote DuPont products and expand market presence.
- • Maintain comprehensive account plans, opportunity pipelines, and customer interaction records to ensure consistent follow-up and strategic account development.
- • Work independently and collaboratively across functions to align sales efforts with marketing, logistics, and customer service teams.
- • Travel 40-50% within the New England region to meet with customers, distributors, and attend industry events.
- • Leverage consultative selling techniques to assemble custom product and service offerings that meet specific end-user application needs.
- • Demonstrate deep understanding of DuPont’s internal business processes and external customer requirements to drive effective sales execution.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- • 3-5 years of sales experience in the safety industry preferred
- • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software (specifically Salesforce.com)
- • Willingness and ability to travel 40-50% within the assigned region
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
