  • • Research and analyze territory dynamics in Southern California to identify prospecting opportunities and develop effective business plans and sales strategies, with a focus on the NGS clinical solutions market.
  • • Develop and manage assigned accounts to drive revenue growth by delivering tailored solutions and building strategic partnerships with key customers, leveraging internal resources to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • • Maintain consistent communication with existing and prospective customers through scheduled sales calls, site visits, and follow-ups, ensuring detailed notes are captured in CRM systems to support pipeline management and sales execution.
  • • Conduct technical presentations to educate customers on IDT’s product offerings, including molecular biology reagents, laboratory consumables, and capital equipment relevant to genomics, cancer research, infectious disease, and rare genetic disorders.
  • • Apply CRM and funnel management tools to forecast business, track customer opportunities, build and nurture sales pipelines, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales outcomes.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Application Scientists, and Inside Sales teams to align customer needs with product development and support initiatives.
  • • Stay informed on the competitive landscape, including competitors’ products and positioning, to effectively differentiate IDT’s solutions and secure sales wins.
  • • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions, sales activities, and account progress using company-approved CRM platforms.
  • • Travel as needed within Southern California to meet with customers, attend industry events, and support strategic account growth initiatives.
  • • Leverage existing relationships with academic institutions, National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) members, corporate clients, and government accounts in the region to expand market penetration and drive sales.
  • • Operate as a fully remote Territory Sales Manager based in Southern California, contributing to a global team culture that values collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement through the Danaher Business System.
  • • Adhere to Danaher’s commitment to innovation, scientific excellence, and ethical business practices while accelerating the pace of genomics breakthroughs that impact patient outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Life Science field (e.g., biology, biochemistry, chemistry)
  • • Minimum 5 years of experience in molecular and/or laboratory pathology sales or field-based customer support, preferably in molecular biology reagents, laboratory consumables, or capital equipment
  • • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • • Reside in California, with Southern California preferred
  • • Familiarity with academic, NCCN, corporate, and government accounts in Southern California
  • • Proficiency in CRM tools and experience managing sales pipelines and forecasting

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Base salary range of $140,000–$165,000
