- • Create short-form UGC-style videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels based on provided brand briefs and product value propositions
- • Film on-camera content with strong hooks, natural product demonstrations, and clear calls-to-action that feel authentic to each platform
- • Adhere to brand guidelines while maintaining trend-aware, native-feeling content that drives engagement and conversion
- • Edit videos using platform best practices including captioning, pacing, cuts, transitions, and audio balancing
- • Submit draft videos for review, incorporate feedback quickly, and consistently meet tight deadlines
- • Track performance metrics of delivered content including hook effectiveness, angles, and format performance
- • Propose new video ideas and content formats based on observed trends and performance data
- • Use provided tools including TikTok, Instagram Reels, CapCut or Adobe Premiere Rush, Canva, Google Drive/Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Asana/Trello to produce and deliver content
- • Record all video content remotely with access to a stable internet connection and suitable filming environment
- • Ensure all content complies with basic legal and advertising standards including FTC-friendly phrasing, claims, and disclosure requirements
- • Maintain consistent output quality across multiple video deliveries for a U.S.-based consumer brand
- • Collaborate asynchronously with a remote team using project management and communication platforms
- • Adapt creative approach based on platform-specific algorithms, audience behaviors, and evolving content trends
- • Deliver videos in required formats and file types as specified in each brief
- • Participate in the application process by recording a video submission as the first step of evaluation
- • Work on a per-video contract basis with payment tied to approved deliverables
- • Maintain professional communication and responsiveness throughout the project lifecycle
- • Manage personal workflow to meet multiple deadlines across concurrent video projects
- • Stay informed about platform updates and algorithm changes on TikTok and Instagram Reels to optimize content strategy
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience creating TikTok and/or Instagram Reels with a portfolio of short-form videos
- • Strong on-camera presence and ability to speak clearly and confidently to camera
- • Basic video editing skills (tight pacing, captions, sound, transitions)
- • Ability to follow a creative brief and deliver consistent output
