📋 Description
- • Review public property records including deeds, liens, mortgages, easements, and maps to confirm ownership and identify potential title issues.
- • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or missing information in title records with precision and care.
- • Compile clear, organized summaries of research findings to support title commitments and facilitate smooth real estate closings.
- • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to clarify title-related questions and resolve outstanding issues.
- • Manage multiple title orders simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
- • Work independently with guidance from an experienced, collaborative team to ensure timely and compliant title production.
- • Apply knowledge of legal and real estate terminology to interpret property records and assess title risks.
- • Utilize Microsoft Office tools and learn new internal systems to document findings and manage workflow efficiently.
- • Demonstrate strong analytical and investigative skills to uncover hidden title defects or encumbrances.
- • Maintain professionalism and thoroughness in all aspects of title examination to uphold company standards and client trust.
- • Contribute to a culture of accuracy, teamwork, and service by supporting the goal of helping clients achieve homeownership.
- • Adhere to strict quality controls and compliance requirements in all title examination tasks.
- • Support production goals across First American’s Mortgage Services, Commercial, Direct, and Agency divisions through reliable and detailed work.
- • Operate in a remote environment with access to company-provided tools and training to ensure consistent performance.
- • Participate in ongoing learning and development opportunities to enhance expertise in title research and industry regulations.
