📋 Description

• As a Trade Surveillance Analyst at Polymarket Inc., you will play a critical role in maintaining market integrity by monitoring and investigating trading activity on the world’s largest prediction market platform, ensuring compliance with CFTC regulations as a Designated Contract Market.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include triaging the daily surveillance alert queue, investigating flagged trading for manipulative behaviors like spoofing and wash trading, analyzing order book and trade data using SQL or Python, writing detailed case summaries, maintaining regulatory records, supporting threshold calibration, and assisting in CFTC examination preparations.
• You will join a small, high-impact Market Regulation team within a fast-growing, mission-driven company that is redefining how global markets reflect collective expectations through transparent, peer-to-peer prediction markets.
• This role offers the opportunity to build deep expertise in derivatives market oversight, regulatory compliance, and financial market surveillance at a company actively shaping the future of information and trading, with real regulatory responsibility from day one.

🎯 Requirements

• 0 to 3 years of experience in trade surveillance, market regulation, exchange operations, or financial services compliance
• Working knowledge of futures and options markets, including order book function and exchange trading mechanics
• Proficiency in Excel and structured data analysis, with ability to translate raw trading data into documented findings
• Strong written communication skills for producing case documentation that holds up to regulatory scrutiny
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and make sound judgment calls under time pressure
• Familiarity with CFTC regulations and DCM Core Principles, or demonstrated willingness to get up to speed quickly
