This role is pivotal in ensuring that our clients receive reliable infrastructure solutions, directly contributing to the health and safety of communities nationwide.
- • You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of multiple projects, encompassing meticulous planning, vigilant monitoring, and thorough review of project progress and accuracy. Your oversight will ensure that all project milestones are met, deliverables are achieved, and results are evaluated against established objectives.
- • A key aspect of this role involves cultivating and strengthening relationships with existing customers. You will leverage your deep understanding of the Core & Main product line and the specific needs of the treatment plant market to identify opportunities for increased sales and service.
- • Your primary objective will be to profitably grow as-bid margins, aligning with the company's yearly sales goals for the Treatment Plant market. This involves acting as a Customer Service Champion, providing unparalleled support to new accounts, diligently retaining existing customers, and proactively seeking opportunities to expand business with current clients.
- • The role demands a proactive approach to anticipating, identifying, and resolving operational challenges. You will be tasked with minimizing project delays and ensuring the smooth execution of all project phases, from initiation to closure.
- • A critical responsibility is ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of all necessary materials and supplies. This requires close coordination with supply chain and logistics teams to guarantee that projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- • You will be the central point of contact for project coordination, determining and facilitating collaboration among internal support teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver optimal value to our customers.
- • Regular and transparent communication with all project stakeholders is essential. You will provide consistent status updates, interface with upper management on project progress and any emerging issues, and ensure that all parties are informed and aligned.

- • Participation in and leadership of weekly or monthly project meetings will be a regular duty. You will review open jobs, track and report on project status, and proactively identify deviations or adverse trends that require attention.
- • The scope of your responsibility extends to troubleshooting and resolving complex problems. You will apply strong problem-solving skills to navigate intricate situations, making sound decisions even under conditions of uncertainty or with incomplete information, to achieve effective end results.
- • You will independently perform assignments, with guidance focused on expected outcomes. Your ability to determine and develop effective approaches to solutions will be crucial, receiving technical guidance only for highly unusual or complex issues.
- • Demonstrating skill in data analysis techniques will be necessary to resolve missing or incomplete information and address inconsistencies or anomalies in complex research and data related to project performance.
- • The nature of the work requires increasing independence, with guidance provided primarily on complex or unusual challenges. Work review will typically involve periodic assessment of your output by supervisors and/or direct stakeholders.
- • While you may provide general guidance or training to junior personnel, this role does not include hiring or firing authority.
- • This position requires consistent operation of a Company Vehicle or a Personal Vehicle for more than 20% of the average work week. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report will be conducted, and an acceptable MVR is a requirement for employment.
- • You will be responsible for ensuring that contractual agreements are understood and approved, and that Core & Main's obligations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- • The role involves interfacing with various internal departments, including sales, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- • You will contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices within the Treatment Plant division.
- • This position offers the opportunity to work remotely from Utah, providing flexibility while contributing to critical infrastructure projects nationwide.
