  • • Own the implementation and optimization of Harvey's compliance automation tooling to automate workflows across compliance programs including audit readiness, continuous monitoring, and risk reporting.
  • • Design and build a compliance data layer in Snowflake by ingesting signals from infrastructure, security tools, and SaaS platforms to create a real-time view of control health and audit readiness.
  • • Develop AI agents and automated pipelines for evidence collection, control testing, and continuous monitoring at scale using LLMs and agentic AI workflows.
  • • Partner with Engineering and Security teams to map technical implementations to compliance controls and maintain an accurate, living inventory of controls.
  • • Build reporting layers that translate compliance signals into clear narratives on risk posture and certification status for executive and cross-functional audiences.
  • • Select and integrate best-in-class compliance automation platforms to enhance scalability and reduce manual effort in trust and assurance programs.
  • • Ensure Harvey’s platform meets the trust and compliance expectations of enterprise customers, including law firms and large corporations operating in regulated environments.
  • • Translate complex compliance framework requirements (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR) into technical specifications and automated validation processes.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally to align engineering practices with audit evidence requirements and ensure seamless preparation for third-party assessments.
  • • Automate the collection and validation of control evidence to reduce manual labor and increase accuracy in compliance reporting.
  • • Maintain and evolve the data infrastructure that supports Harvey’s trust and assurance programs as the company scales across 60+ countries.
  • • Work closely with the Head of Trust to define and prioritize initiatives that strengthen Harvey’s compliance posture and customer trust.
  • • Ensure all automation systems are secure, auditable, and aligned with enterprise-grade standards for data handling and access control.
  • • Proactively identify gaps in compliance coverage and propose technical solutions to close them before audits or customer inquiries arise.
  • • Document automation workflows, data mappings, and control-to-implementation relationships for internal and external audit purposes.
  • • Continuously improve the efficiency and reliability of compliance systems by incorporating feedback from internal stakeholders and external auditors.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 6+ years in software, data, or security engineering with exposure to compliance automation or trust and assurance programs
  • • Hands-on experience building data pipelines on Snowflake, BigQuery, or comparable platforms; strong SQL and Python
  • • Experience implementing or administering compliance automation platforms
  • • Working knowledge of at least one compliance framework — enough to understand control requirements and map them to technical implementations
  • • Experience building AI-powered workflows or agents using LLMs
