  • • Administer a portfolio of trusts, estates, and agency accounts in accordance with governing documents, state and federal regulations, and company policies.
  • • Serve as the primary relationship manager for high-net-worth clients and beneficiaries, providing guidance on trust terms, distributions, tax considerations, and estate planning matters.
  • • Review and interpret trust instruments, wills, and related legal documents to determine appropriate administrative actions and fiduciary obligations.
  • • Coordinate closely with investment, tax, legal, and compliance teams to ensure cohesive, high-quality service delivery across all client accounts.
  • • Monitor account activities including investment performance, cash flow needs, and distribution schedules to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and proactive oversight.
  • • Identify potential risks or compliance issues in trust administration and address them promptly, escalating concerns as necessary to protect client and company interests.
  • • Cultivate new business opportunities through exceptional client service, client referrals, and active participation in community engagement and networking events.
  • • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all trust administration activities in alignment with regulatory and internal audit requirements.
  • • Provide clear, professional communication to clients and beneficiaries regarding account status, changes in law or policy, and distribution timelines.
  • • Ensure all trust operations comply with fiduciary standards and uphold the organization’s commitment to integrity, transparency, and personalized service.
  • • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on evolving trust laws, tax codes, and wealth management practices.
  • • Support internal initiatives to improve trust administration processes, client onboarding, and system efficiency within the Fiduciary Services department.
  • • Represent the organization at client meetings, community events, and industry forums to reinforce brand reputation and client trust.
  • • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex client requests involving multi-jurisdictional trusts, charitable giving structures, or generational wealth transfer.
  • • Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical conduct in all client interactions and internal communications.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, or a related field
  • • 7+ years of trust administration, estate planning, or fiduciary services experience, ideally within a bank, trust company, or wealth management environment
  • • Strong understanding of fiduciary law, trust structures, estate settlement processes, tax considerations, and investment concepts
  • • Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships with discretion, clarity, and empathy
  • • Excellent analytical, organizational, and document-interpretation skills with high attention to detail
  • • Proven ability to partner effectively with legal, investment, tax, and compliance teams
