📋 Description

• Evaluate and review financial applications and supporting documentation to assess risk and determine eligibility based on established underwriting guidelines.
• Accurately input and verify financial data across underwriting systems and platforms, ensuring 100% precision in all entries and updates.
• Identify and flag discrepancies, inconsistencies, or missing information in submitted applications for prompt resolution by internal teams.
• Maintain complete, organized, and up-to-date records for all underwriting cases to ensure audit readiness and compliance with internal policies.
• Ensure all underwriting decisions strictly adhere to regulatory standards and company compliance protocols.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless case processing and meet strict turnaround time expectations.
• Communicate clearly and professionally via written and spoken English with US-based clients and internal stakeholders during US Eastern business hours.
• Work independently to manage a consistent and high-volume workload without direct supervision.
• Utilize underwriting and financial data platforms to retrieve, update, and analyze client financial information.
• Operate efficiently within CRM and case management tools to track application status, assign tasks, and document communications.
• Leverage Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite to prepare reports, organize documentation, and maintain correspondence.
• Use communication tools such as Slack and Zoom to collaborate with team members and participate in daily workflow huddles.
• Maintain strict focus on accuracy and detail throughout all stages of the underwriting process.
• Adapt to process-driven environments with standardized workflows and minimal deviation from approved procedures.
• Demonstrate consistent reliability in remote work settings with proven experience managing responsibilities without in-person oversight.
• Deliver high-quality output under time-sensitive conditions while maintaining compliance and quality control standards.
• Engage in continuous improvement by learning new systems, tools, and policy updates relevant to underwriting operations.
• Represent the company professionally in all client-facing and internal communications.
• Prioritize workflow efficiency without compromising accuracy or regulatory adherence.
• Contribute to a culture of accountability and precision in a fully remote, US client-focused financial services team.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in financial underwriting or a related data-intensive financial role
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage a consistent workload
• Excellent written and spoken English for US client-facing communication
• Comfortable working US Eastern hours on a full-time basis
• Prior remote work experience; candidates without demonstrated remote work experience will not be considered
