📋 Description

• • As a US Auditor supporting a dynamic portfolio of US clients, you will plan and execute audits, turn complex accounting standards into clear insights, and help clients strengthen controls before issues become findings. You will partner with accounting teams and CPA firms across US time zones, blending rigor with practicality to document audit conclusions that stand up to scrutiny.
• • You will orchestrate the audit lifecycle from kickoff to wrap-up: defining scope and materiality, mapping risks, walking through key processes (revenue recognition, purchasing, payroll, inventory), designing and performing substantive procedures, evaluating ASC 606 and ASC 842 compliance, auditing key estimates, applying defensible sampling, building GAAS-compliant workpapers, identifying control deficiencies, and communicating findings with clarity and professionalism.
• • CAS is a firm that supports US clients with high-quality audit services, emphasizing a documentation-first culture, standardized methodologies, and continuous improvement through playbook refinement and knowledge sharing. The role is 100% remote from the Philippines, requiring alignment with US business hours and an exclusive commitment as a full-time independent contractor.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in US GAAP and GAAS, gain exposure to diverse industries and modern audit tools (including data analytics and ERP systems), refine audit methodologies, mentor teammates through actionable feedback, and build a reputation for precision, clarity, and steady communication in high-stakes audit environments.
