📋 Description
- • Be the final checkpoint in the tax workflow, reviewing completed U.S. tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120-S, 1065) for accuracy before filing, ensuring compliance and quality across federal and multi-state returns.
- • Conduct thorough reviews of K-1s, capital accounts, basis, depreciation, apportionment, nexus, and state-specific tax treatments; reconcile book-to-tax adjustments and validate e-file readiness.
- • Collaborate with U.S.-based teams on technical questions, provide clear and actionable review notes to preparers, and communicate return-specific client inquiries without offering advisory services.
- • Maintain audit-ready documentation, uphold strict security protocols, and contribute to a culture of quality and accountability in a fully remote, career-focused environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Extensive experience reviewing and/or preparing U.S. tax returns across 1040, 1120, 1120-S, and 1065 forms
- • Deep familiarity with state tax filings across multiple jurisdictions
- • Strong communication skills for client-facing (return-specific) and internal correspondence
- • Experience with Drake tax software preferred
- • Confident written and spoken English; comfort working U.S. business hours
