  • • Resolve complex trust and safety, usage policy, and compliance issues by directly engaging with customers and collaborating with account teams to ensure appropriate resolutions.
  • • Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, Operations, and Vendor teams to design, implement, and scale operational processes, tooling, and automation strategies for content moderation and abuse detection.
  • • Build, launch, and scale human-in-the-loop systems for user reporting, content labeling, customer appeals, escalations, and other trust and safety workflows.
  • • Conduct risk evaluations and investigations by analyzing internal data, third-party sources, and documentation to identify emerging abuse trends and malicious behavior patterns.
  • • Analyze user behavior and platform data to generate actionable insights and establish feedback loops that inform improvements to trust and safety policies, detection systems, and product features.
  • • Serve as incident manager for high-complexity, high-visibility cases, acting as the central liaison between Product, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and customer-facing teams.
  • • Develop and deliver best-in-class training materials, playbooks, and workflows to equip internal teams with a deep technical understanding of trust and safety systems and user needs.
  • • Gain and maintain expert-level knowledge of OpenAI’s usage policies and content integrity issues across all products, and educate clients on policy application and enforcement.
  • • Apply judgment and policy expertise to evaluate sensitive cases involving potentially disturbing content, including material that is confidential, sexual, violent, or otherwise harmful.
  • • Drive operational scaling from zero to one by designing processes and systems that adapt to growing platform usage and evolving abuse vectors.
  • • Maintain a bias for action, manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, and ruthlessly prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-context-switching environment.
  • • Foster cross-functional relationships to improve team performance, align on goals, and ensure consistent enforcement of trust and safety standards across global user bases.
  • • Contribute to the development of automated detection systems and human review workflows by providing operational feedback grounded in real-world case experience.
  • • Operate with expansive ownership, taking initiative to acquire missing knowledge and skills to enhance team effectiveness and customer outcomes.
  • • Work in a hybrid model requiring three days per week in the Dublin, Ireland office, handling sensitive content with discretion and professionalism.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in trust and safety, detection/investigation of malicious behavior, compliance operations, or similar domains
  • • Proven ability to build and scale operational processes and systems from zero to one
  • • Demonstrated experience managing high-complexity, high-visibility cases and acting as a cross-functional nexus between teams
  • • Strong project and program management skills with ability to prioritize multiple concurrent initiatives
  • • Comfort with handling sensitive, disturbing, or confidential content
  • • Technical or data analysis skills are a plus
