  • • The UX Mobile Designer role is a non-employee contingent worker position supporting TIAA’s family of companies, focused on delivering high-quality user experiences for mobile applications through expert design and strategic thinking.
  • • Day to day, the designer will collaborate with UX, product, and technology teams to understand customer journeys, identify gaps and opportunities, and create interactive prototypes using Figma that reflect iOS and Android design patterns.
  • • The role sits within TIAA’s UX team, contributing to the development of team knowledge, best practices, and cohesive mobile experiences across platforms, with a hybrid work arrangement likely based in Massachusetts.
  • • The designer will deepen expertise in native mobile design systems, platform-specific guidelines, and cross-platform consistency, while gaining experience in strategic design decision-making that balances user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of professional experience in UX or mobile design (7+ years preferred)
  • • Expert proficiency in Figma for creating interactive prototypes and design systems
  • • Deep knowledge of native mobile design trends, iOS and Android platform guidelines, and best practices
  • • Ability to self-direct work, manage priorities and deadlines independently while maintaining brand alignment
  • • University degree preferred
