- • Conduct qualitative UX research to understand how members manage money, navigate financial stress, and interact with Brigit’s products in their daily lives
- • Partner with Product Design, Product Management, Data, and Engineering teams to identify key research questions and guide product decisions based on user insights
- • Design and execute a variety of research methods including usability testing, moderated and unmoderated interviews, and longitudinal studies
- • Synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative data into clear, actionable insights that directly influence product strategy and design priorities
- • Communicate research findings through readouts, summaries, dashboards, and presentations tailored for both design and non-design audiences
- • Build and maintain a centralized research repository or insight library to ensure past learnings are accessible and reusable across teams
- • Advocate for a user-centered design culture by embedding empathy and evidence-based decision-making into the product development lifecycle
- • Identify opportunities to improve, standardize, and scale research processes, tools, and methodologies to increase team efficiency and impact
- • Collaborate with Marketing to understand member acquisition and retention behaviors through user research
- • Translate member pain points and behavioral patterns into product requirements that help users avoid fees, build credit, and manage cash flow effectively
- • Champion inclusive research practices that reflect the diversity of Brigit’s member base across income levels, backgrounds, and financial literacy
- • Ensure research outputs are practical, timely, and aligned with product roadmaps to drive measurable improvements in user experience and financial outcomes
- • Stay current with evolving UX research trends, tools, and ethical standards in financial technology and consumer behavior research
- • Support cross-functional initiatives by providing research input during sprint planning, product reviews, and design critiques
- • Document research protocols, participant recruitment strategies, and consent procedures in compliance with data privacy regulations
- • Proactively identify gaps in user understanding and propose new research initiatives to address unmet member needs
- • Serve as a trusted advisor to product teams by providing evidence-based recommendations that reduce assumptions and increase product success rates
- • Maintain a deep understanding of Brigit’s mission to help everyday Americans achieve financial stability through transparent, fair, and simple financial products
