đź“‹ Description

  • • As a UX/UI Designer at ICW Group Insurance Companies, you will play a pivotal role in shaping intuitive, user-centered digital experiences that directly impact how customers interact with insurance products and services, contributing to the company’s mission of delivering the best insurance experience possible through innovative design.
  • • You will lead end-to-end design processes—from research and ideation to prototyping and implementation—ensuring that digital solutions are not only visually compelling but also functionally intuitive, accessible, and aligned with business goals, ultimately enhancing user satisfaction and engagement across web and mobile platforms.
  • • You will conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, focus groups, and usability testing, to uncover deep insights into customer behaviors, pain points, and motivations, translating these findings into actionable design strategies and information architectures that inform sitemaps, wireframes, and user flows.
  • • You will create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs using industry-standard tools such as Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, Balsamiq, and Visio, while also defining detailed design specifications and contributing front-end code in HTML, CSS (SCSS), and JavaScript to bridge design and development.
  • • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product owners, developers, CX specialists, and stakeholders—to translate business requirements into user stories, personas, and storyboards, ensuring design consistency, technical feasibility, and seamless integration into the product lifecycle.
  • • You will advocate for and implement design systems, interaction design principles, and UI/UX best practices, continuously evaluating and improving design methodologies to maintain visual and functional consistency across all digital touchpoints while driving innovation through exploration of emerging technologies and design trends.
  • • You will interpret qualitative and quantitative user feedback, debug interface issues, and troubleshoot software challenges in complex, large-scale applications to ensure optimal performance, usability, and accessibility, while mentoring peers and contributing to a culture of design excellence and user-centric thinking.
  • • You will join a stable, people-focused organization with over 50 years of industry leadership, recognized for ten consecutive years as a Top 50 P&C performer, where your work will directly support a mission-driven culture that values employee growth, community impact, and innovation in the insurance space.
  • • You will have the opportunity to grow your expertise in end-to-end product design, front-end development, and design strategy within a collaborative, supportive environment that encourages continuous learning, creativity, and analytical problem-solving—positioning you to advance as a design leader while making measurable impact on customer experience and business outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field from a four-year college or university.
  • • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in web and user application design, including end-to-end product design lifecycle.
  • • Proficiency in UX/UI design tools: Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, Balsamiq, Visio, and experience creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and prototypes.
  • • Strong working knowledge of front-end web development: HTML, CSS (SCSS), JavaScript, and familiarity with Java and .Net for application integration.
  • • Demonstrated ability to conduct user research, usability testing, competitor analysis, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions.
  • • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with experience presenting design concepts to leadership and working effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive salary range: $83,017.13 – $140,002.70 annually, reflecting the role’s impact and market value.
  • • Opportunity to work remotely from the Southwest region, offering flexibility and work-life balance while contributing to a national organization.
  • • Access to comprehensive professional development resources and support for continuous learning in design, technology, and industry trends.
  • • Employer-sponsored health, dental, vision, and wellness programs designed to support employee well-being.
