- • UX/UI Designer (all gender) at Orcrist Technologies Inc., responsible for owning UX and interaction design for Innovation’s incubated initiatives, translating ambiguous problem spaces into clear workflows and delivering adoption-ready handoffs for defense, law-enforcement, and enterprise teams using the Orcrist Intelligence Platform (OIP).
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include mapping analyst workflows, defining jobs-to-be-done, designing end-to-end prototype experiences in Figma, defining reusable interaction patterns aligned with platform constraints, running rapid validation loops via usability testing, producing adoption-grade handoffs with annotated flows and specs, and championing accessibility for data-dense experiences like graph/geospatial/table-heavy interfaces.
- • Orcrist Technologies Inc. builds the Orcrist Intelligence Platform (OIP), a Kubernetes-based data intelligence system delivered as SaaS or self-hosted/on-prem (including air-gapped deployments), serving defense, law-enforcement, and enterprise teams to turn complex data into actionable intelligence securely and responsibly.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise B2B UX design, master designing for high-stakes, data-intensive environments, strengthen collaboration with TypeScript engineers in fast prototyping cycles, and gain experience delivering mission-critical designs that meet WCAG/508 standards and platform constraints across cloud, on-prem, and air-gapped environments.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years designing complex B2B/enterprise products; portfolio required
- • Strong Figma practice and design-system documentation habits that engineers can implement
- • Experience designing data-dense analytics UX (graph/geospatial/records browsing) with performance and accessibility tradeoffs in mind
- • Comfortable collaborating tightly with product and TypeScript engineers in fast prototyping cycles
- • Eligible to work in Germany; EU/NATO citizenship preferred for export-controlled projects
