- • UX/UI Designer (all gender) at Orcrist Technologies Inc., a fully remote, dynamic software engineering agency specializing in data-driven solutions for clients. The role focuses on designing map-first experiences for geospatial intelligence capabilities, where analysts make high-stakes decisions under time pressure—clarity, precision, and reliability are paramount.
- • Day to day, you will design map-centric product experiences including layers, timelines, annotations, overlays, and spatial filters; define user workflows for geospatial analysis; create wireframes, interaction flows, and high-fidelity prototypes; build and maintain design systems and UI components for analytical interfaces; conduct user research and usability testing with analysts and operators; collaborate closely with engineers to ensure designs perform with large datasets and complex tools; and design for connected, offline, and air-gapped environments from the outset.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years designing complex B2B software products with a portfolio showing end-to-end work from research to polished interfaces
- • Experience designing data visualization or map-based products with understanding of spatial interaction challenges
- • Strong skills in interaction design and information architecture for analytical and data-dense interfaces
- • Proficient in Figma and comfortable working with design systems and component libraries
- • Easy to collaborate with engineers, analysts, and product managers across disciplinary boundaries
