- • As Venture Lead - Payments at Rootstock Labs Ltd, you will launch and lead a new payments venture built on Rootstock, Bitcoin’s EVM-compatible sidechain, taking protocol-level technology from concept to market-ready products in remittances, merchant pay, and agentic transactions.
- • Day to day, you will define and execute the product portfolio roadmap, validate product-market fit through customer discovery and pilots, build and lead a dedicated product-engineering squad, represent the venture externally at conferences and partner meetings, align with R&D on protocol capabilities, and drive commercial traction through early partnerships and revenue paths.
- • You will join Rootstock Labs, a team building Bitcoin-secured DeFi infrastructure that enables financial institutions to offer compliant, scalable decentralized financial services at global scale, operating at the intersection of crypto infrastructure and institutional finance.
- • In this role, you will have the opportunity to own and scale a 0→1 venture, shape your own team, gain deep exposure to cutting-edge blockchain and programmable money systems, and establish yourself as a leader in the crypto payments ecosystem with high autonomy and organizational support.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–7 years in payments/remittances/fintech with crypto experience as a must
- • Hands-on experience building crypto payment products
- • Strong understanding of Bitcoin/EVM ecosystems
- • Fluent in product strategy, customer discovery, and partnerships
- • Experience in incubating and scaling a product
- • Comfortable operating as the external face of a venture in ecosystem settings
