- • Vice President of Public Sector Growth at Brightline Interactive Inc., responsible for leading the company's expansion into public-sector partnerships across state agencies, Medicaid programs, counties, school systems, and other government entities to address the youth behavioral health crisis.
- • Day-to-day activities include sourcing and originating new public-sector opportunities, leading complex pursuits from initial stakeholder engagement through contract negotiation, managing a multi-year pipeline of opportunities, coordinating cross-functional teams and external advisors (government affairs consultants, lobbyists, policy advisors), and serving as the accountable executive for contract execution and implementation handoff.
- • Brightline is a pediatric behavioral health company delivering evidence-based mental health care to children and families through virtual and in-person services, backed by major investors including Boston Children's Hospital, Northwell Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Google Ventures, KKR, and Oak HC/FT, with a mission to improve access to high-quality behavioral healthcare.
- • The role offers the opportunity to influence how public-sector stakeholders address youth mental health, build sustainable partnerships that improve outcomes for families, define Brightline's public-sector growth strategy, and create long-term enterprise value by originating and converting new partnerships and expanding existing government relationships.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience in healthcare business development, public-sector healthcare growth, Medicaid managed care, healthcare consulting, government contracting, government healthcare programs, or related fields
- • Demonstrated track record of sourcing, advancing, and closing complex public-sector healthcare opportunities resulting in meaningful revenue growth
- • Proven experience managing opportunities throughout the full business development lifecycle, from market identification and stakeholder engagement through contract execution and implementation handoff
- • Experience leading competitive public procurements, including RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, grants, and government contracting processes
- • Deep understanding of state Medicaid programs, behavioral health funding structures, public-sector purchasing processes, and government healthcare ecosystems
- • Demonstrated success influencing executive-level decision makers within state agencies, county governments, Medicaid programs, health plans, education systems, or related public-sector organizations
