- • We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Video Editor to become an integral part of our content, marketing, and digital initiatives. This pivotal role is primarily focused on professional video editing, demanding a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of narrative flow, and a deep understanding of visual storytelling. You will be instrumental in transforming raw footage into polished, engaging content that resonates with our target audience and upholds our brand's integrity.
- • A significant portion of your responsibilities will involve editing pre-recorded podcast interviews. These interviews feature a presenter and a company spokesperson, requiring you to seamlessly integrate high-quality B-roll footage of the company. The goal is to create a polished, professional, and captivating viewing experience that enhances the narrative and reinforces our brand identity. This involves meticulous attention to detail in ensuring smooth transitions between speakers and B-roll, clean cuts that maintain a natural flow, and pacing that keeps viewers engaged from start to finish.
- • You will be expected to apply basic color correction techniques to ensure visual consistency and appeal, perform audio balancing to guarantee clear and professional sound quality, and implement visual enhancements that elevate the overall production value. Adherence to brand standards in all visual elements is paramount, ensuring that every video output aligns with our established brand guidelines and aesthetic.
- • The final outputs will be optimized for various platforms, including web, social media, and internal communications. This requires an understanding of different platform requirements and best practices for video delivery. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders using Frame.io, a crucial tool for efficient review and feedback cycles. This collaborative process ensures that all edits meet expectations and incorporate valuable insights before final delivery.
- • Beyond core editing, you will contribute to our visual content strategy through basic motion graphics and animation. This includes creating branded elements such as lower thirds, intros and outros, title cards, and other visual overlays. The aim is to apply consistent brand elements across all video assets, enhancing brand recognition and visual appeal without overwhelming the content. Your ability to support visual storytelling through subtle, effective animation will be highly valued.
- • Furthermore, this role offers an opportunity to engage in basic website design and development tasks, primarily focused on assisting with the initial build of a basic WordPress website or handling limited, one-off updates. You will be responsible for updating layouts, content blocks, and visuals to ensure a cohesive look and feel between our video content and web presence. While not a long-term primary responsibility, this aspect of the role allows for broader contribution to our digital footprint.
- • A portion of your duties will also encompass graphic design and photo editing. This includes creating and editing presentation materials, developing visual assets for marketing campaigns, and producing general design collateral. You will also perform light photo editing as needed, supporting internal teams with their visual content requirements. Proficiency in tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite will be essential for these tasks, enabling you to deliver high-quality visual content across various mediums.
