📋 Description

• As a Video Editor / AI Video Designer at PawChamp, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual storytelling of a fast-growing pet tech startup that recently earned Product of the Day on Product Hunt and maintains a 4.8-star rating on the App Store. Your work will directly influence user acquisition, engagement, and brand perception by creating high-impact video creatives for Meta and TikTok ads — content that doesn’t just look good, but drives measurable performance in a competitive global market.
• You will be responsible for producing polished, platform-optimized video advertisements from concept to final cut, working closely with marketing and product teams to translate briefs into compelling visual narratives that resonate with dog owners worldwide. This includes editing raw footage, applying motion graphics, synchronizing audio, and ensuring brand consistency across all creative outputs.
• You will actively participate in ideation sessions, experimenting with new formats, visual styles, and storytelling approaches — leveraging AI tools to rapidly prototype and test hypotheses, enabling the team to move quickly from concept to data-driven creative decisions.
• You will integrate cutting-edge AI video generation tools (such as Veo, Higgsfield, Midjourney, or similar) into your workflow to accelerate production, generate unique visual assets, automate repetitive tasks, and explore unconventional creative solutions that would be impractical or too time-consuming through traditional methods alone.
• You will collaborate with Pawchie, the AI companion feature of the app, to explore innovative ways of blending AI-generated content with human-directed storytelling, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in pet-focused advertising and educational video content.
• You will maintain a high velocity of output, managing multiple creative iterations and A/B test variants simultaneously, while adhering to tight deadlines and performance-based feedback loops from ad campaigns.
• You will work within Skelar AS, a venture builder that launches and scales international IT product companies using venture capital principles, giving you exposure to a dynamic ecosystem of founders, operators, and cross-functional experts who are building the next generation of global tech businesses.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, visual effects, and professional video editing
• Strong working knowledge of Figma for creating storyboards, visual assets, and collaborating on design systems
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered video and image generation tools such as Veo, Higgsfield, Midjourney, DALL-E, or Runway ML
• Proven ability to create high-performing video creatives for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok ad platforms
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, experimental environment where rapid iteration and data-driven decision-making are essential
• Ability to independently manage end-to-end video production from brief to final delivery under tight timelines
