📋 Description

• Video Editor for Music & Social Content at Agent Inc. is a full-time remote role focused on crafting high-energy, music-driven video content for social media platforms, serving major music festivals and artists through cinematic-quality edits that amplify artist visibility and audience engagement.
• Edit engaging, fast-paced video content specifically tailored for social media platforms, including festival montages, artist interviews, and short-form ads, ensuring each piece captures the rhythm and energy of the music scene through precise timing and storytelling.
• Create montage edits and "mini music videos" perfectly synchronized to music tracks, demonstrating mastery of the "cut" by aligning visual pacing with audio beats, transitions, and emotional arcs without reliance on heavy effects.
• Clean and cut interview footage ("talking head" content) to ensure clear, engaging pacing and professional polish for social promotion, maintaining narrative flow while removing redundancies and enhancing speaker presence.
• Develop effective video ads based on established creative decks, translating brand and campaign goals into compelling, platform-optimized short-form content that drives awareness and conversions for music releases and events.
• Manage projects within ClickUp and maintain active communication with the team via Discord, ensuring seamless workflow integration, timely updates, and collaborative feedback loops across time zones.
• Work closely with the Creative Production Manager to receive direction, implement feedback, and refine craft through iterative editing processes that prioritize quality, deadlines, and artistic vision.
• Collaborate in a fully remote team environment with US time zone overlap (EST/PST), requiring reliable communication, responsiveness, and adaptability to asynchronous and synchronous collaboration needs.
• Continuously refine technical and creative skills through hands-on experience with high-stakes music industry projects, building a portfolio of work seen by thousands of music fans globally.
• Develop versatility across content types—from polished interviews to high-octane festival cuts—while cultivating an intuitive editorial sense that prioritizes emotional impact over technical complexity.

🎯 Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating cinematic, high-quality video work
• Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
• Proven experience creating content that performs well on social platforms
• Ability to work in a fully remote team environment and respond well to creative direction
• Strong creative eye with ability to conceptualize and execute visual ideas
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality standards
• US time zone overlap availability (required for team collaboration)
