- • The Video Producer/Editor creates and delivers video content to support The Nature Conservancy’s marketing goals, organizational priorities, and conservation outcomes, playing a key role in engaging audiences through compelling visual storytelling.
- • Day to day, the role involves managing and executing creative video projects from concept to completion, including scriptwriting, editing, sound design, color correction, and collaborating with cross-functional teams while supervising volunteers, interns, or vendors as needed.
- • The position is part of The Nature Conservancy’s Marketing and Communications department, specifically within the Storytelling & Content team on the Visual Storytelling team, which focuses on photo and video professionals dedicated to advancing conservation through impactful media.
- • In this role, the person can develop expertise in end-to-end video production, strengthen their ability to craft emotionally resonant, audience-centered stories, and gain experience influencing organizational brand standards and ethical storytelling practices across a global environmental nonprofit.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ related experience or equivalent combination
- • Experience cultivating and managing client/customer relationships
- • Experience writing, editing, and proofreading
- • Experience organizing and coordinating multiple projects
- • Advanced expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with Adobe After Effects is a plus
- • Strong skills in sound design, sound mixing, and color correction
