- • The Virtual Patient Access Coordinator serves as a patient advocate to ensure timely access to prescribed medications by coordinating with patients, physicians, and pharmacies, playing a critical role in improving treatment outcomes for patients served by Inizio Engage’s pharmaceutical clients.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting benefits investigations, verifying insurance coverage, enrolling patients in copay assistance programs, supporting prior authorization and appeals processes, educating providers and patients on payer policies, maintaining accurate records in designated systems, and providing ongoing support throughout the patient’s treatment journey.
- • Inizio Engage is a strategic healthcare engagement partner that combines data, science, and technology to deliver customized solutions that improve how clients engage with patients, providers, and payers, with a mission to improve lives by facilitating access to medicines and support.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in patient access operations, healthcare reimbursement, HIPAA compliance, and case management while contributing to a collaborative, award-winning culture recognized as a Great Place to Work and Best Place to Work in BioPharma.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree required
- • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare case management with knowledge of medical or pharmaceutical terminology
- • Experience with health insurance and Rx reimbursement processes
- • Understanding of HIPAA and privacy laws with ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- • Experience with Adverse Event and Product Quality Complaint reporting
- • Outstanding case management skills and passion for learning and sharing knowledge
